Research Report that impede the specialize vocational education to prevent employment

On 8 June 2010, the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development released a research report that the Austrian system of vocational education "too professional" would weaken the long-term employability of workers.

Austria attaches great importance to vocational education, the group of young people around 14 to 18 years ago, about 70% of them study in vocational schools or other vocational training institutions for vocational education. This proportion was significantly higher than the OECD average of 45% of the standard.
